Time to unite in battle against COVID-19: Kavinder

JAMMU, Apr 25: Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta has emphasized that it is high time that all the people irrespective of caste, creed or political affiliations unite to lead the crucial battle against the lethal Corona virus to a logical conclusion at the earliest.
In a statement issued here today, the former Deputy Chief Minister lauded the frontline Corona warriors especially the doctors and allied health workers for their relentless efforts in fighting a major battle against the deadly infection. He said that it was because of these frontline warriors that the nation was able to overcome the crisis situation during the first wave and once again they deserve full appreciation for risking their and their families’ life in order to bring the nation and its people out of the health calamity that has assumed serious dimension today.
He assured the medical fraternity and allied health workers that the people at large stand behind them and their families in this crucial situation to arrest the spread of the deadly virus by following the necessary SOPs and cooperating fully with the administration to win the battle against COVID-19.
While reiterating BJP’s commitment to ensure that no stone is left unturned in overcoming the ongoing pandemic situation by providing the requisite infrastructure including vaccines, oxygen or other necessary medicines in this fight, Kavinder emphasized upon the need for all the representatives of the people to girdle up their loins and play their role in the ongoing situation with sincerity and devotion.
Kavinder informed that he is in constant touch with the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu taking stock of the latest situation at ground level, adding that he assured the Divisional Commissioner that BJP stands with the administration and wherever the government needs any sort of help, the party workers will cooperate and synergize with the administration in its endeavour to win the battle against deadly virus across the Union Territory.
