JK reports 3164 new positive cases,141574 recovered so far

JAMMU, Apr 27: The Government on Tuesday informed that 3164 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19),1030 from Jammu division and 2134 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 166054. Also 25 COVID-19 deaths have been reported, 15 from Jammu Division and 10 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 1457 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 656 from Jammu Division and 801 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 166054 positive cases, 22283 are Active Positive, 141574 have recovered and 2197 have died; 843 in Jammu division and 1354 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 7125036 test results available, 6958982 samples have been tested as negative till 27thApril, 2021.
Till date 1767815 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 94418 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 22283 in isolation and 121267in home surveillance. Besides, 1527650 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 40538 positive cases (including 1144 cases reported today) with 6872 Active Positive, 33153recovered (including 449cases recovered today), 513 deaths; Baramulla has 11968 positive cases (including 197 cases reported today)with 1741Active Positive, 10035recovered (including 107 cases recovered today), 192 deaths; Budgam reported 9994positive cases (including174 cases reported today)with 1019 active positive cases, 8845 recovered (including 71cases recovered today), 130 deaths; Pulwama has 6834 positive cases (including 70 cases reported today)with 673 Active Positive, 6062 recovered (including 09 cases recovered today)and 99 deaths; Kupwara has 6711 positive cases (including 97 cases reported today), 662 Active Positive, 5948recoveries (including 22 cases recovered today), 101 deaths; Anantnag district has 6372 positive cases (including 143 cases reported today)with 808 Active Positive, 5459 recovered (including 40 cases recovered today), 105 deaths; Bandipora has 5294 positive cases (including123 cases reported today), with304Active Positive and 4926 recoveries (including 38 cases recovered today),64 deaths; Ganderbal has 5254 positive cases (including 66 cases reported today)with 374 Active Positive, 4831 recoveries (including 33 cases recovered today)and49deaths; Kulgam has 3865 positive cases (including 90 cases reported today)with 807 Active Positive, 2999recoveries (including 32 cases recovered today)and 59 deaths while as Shopian has 2885 positive cases (including 30 cases reported today),176 active positive cases, 2667 recoveries and 42 deaths.
Similarly, Jammu has 33136 positive cases (including 489 cases reported today) with 5379 active positive cases, 27303recoveries (including 186 cases recovered today), 454 deaths; Udhampur has 5738 positive cases (including 65cases reported today), 453active positive cases, 5222 recoveries (including 42 cases recovered today)and63 deaths; Rajouri has 4543 positive cases (including 68 cases reported today)with 575active positive, 3907recoveries (including 07 cases recovered today)and 61deaths; Doda has 3692 positive cases (including 41cases reported today)with181Active positive, 3446 recovered(including 04 cases recovered today) and 65 deaths; Kathua has 4292 positive cases (including 100 cases reported today), 490 active positive cases, 3743 recovered(including 36 cases recovered today) and 59 deaths; Kishtwar has 2903 positive cases (including 30 cases reported today)with 68 Active Positive, 2813 recoveries (including 12 cases recovered today)and22 deaths; Samba has 3432 positive cases (including 98 cases reported today)with 523 active positive cases, 2863 recoveries and 46 deaths; Poonch has 2856 positive cases (including 39 cases reported today)with246active positive, 2578recoveries (including 12 cases recovered today)and 32 deaths; Rambanhas 2464 positive cases (including 40 cases reported today)with148 active positive cases, 2293 recoveries(including 53cases recovered today) and 23 deaths while Reasi has 3283 positive (including 60 cases reported today)with 784 active positive cases, 2481 recoveries (including 304 cases recovered today)and 18 deaths.
According to the bulletin, among the total 166054 positive cases in J&K, 18953have been reported as travelers while 147101 as others.
The Bulletin said that the breakup represents districts from which the patients have been traced or are ordinarily residing.
The bulletin added that there are 1354 COVID dedicated beds, 1127 Isolation beds with 614vacant beds and 227 ICU beds where 126 beds are vacant in Jammu division while there are 1708 COVID dedicated beds, 1597 Isolation beds where 867 beds are vacant and 111 ICU beds where 80are vacant beds in Kashmir division. There are a total of 3062 COVID dedicated beds, 2724 Isolation beds with 1481 beds vacant and 338 ICU beds with 206vacant beds in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
