Jammu, Apr 27: In the wake of surge in COVID cases in Jammu, Distt. Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Jammu (DGPC) has decided to celebrate 400. Parkash Diwas (Birth Anniversary) of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib at low profile on 1. May 2021 profile in Gurudwara Guru Nanak Dev Ji Chand Nagar, Jammu on 1. May from 10 AM to 1 PM only. S. Fateh Singh, General Secretary of DGPC Jammu while addressing the press conference, in Jammu today, along with S. Jagjeet Singh President DGPC Jammu & other office bearers and members of DGPC Jammu disclosed the press that on the eve of 400. (Birth Anniversary) of Parkash Diwas of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, entire sikh community worldwide and particularly SGPC Amritsar and DSGMC (Delhi) had also planned Grand Gurmat Samagams & other programmes dedicated to Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, who had sacrificed his life for the cause of humanity. Now in the wake of present threat of COVID & particularly its surge in India, SGPC, Amritsar & DSGMC has also curtailed or cancelled many important programmes in connection with this historical anniversary. |
