This is not the first time that, CEO Rajouri has violated guidelines while making attachment of teachers. Few months ago, CEO Rajouri had made attachments, deployments of teachers and thereby the then DSE Jammu Anuradha Gupta had initiated an inquiry against him, which was to be submitted within a week but the report of inquiry could not be submitted to DSE Jammu.
The order of DSE Jammu reads that whereas, this office has received a copy of Order No. CEOR/NG/2021-22,4477- 79 dated 17-04-2021 issued by CEO Rajouri related to deployment of Henief Shah, Teacher, Sanjay Kumar, 3rd teacher, GINS Danna Palam (Zone Baljarallan), district Rajouri, and, the above mentioned teachers are deployed in GMS Dalhori and MS, Kardhinoo respectively by the CEO Rajouri by sheer abuse of the powers vested in him.
The order further reads that the CEO Rajouri had neither sought any permission from the competent authority in the matter nor is competent to effect the deployment of three teacher as per rules/norms governing the field; and whereas, this office had already directed all the Chief Education Officers of Jammu Division not to effect any deployment without the Permission of the competent authority. Now, therefore, in view of the above, the order issued vide No., CEOR/NG/2021-22, 4477- 79 dated 17-04-2021 is cancelled and teachers are directed to report to their original places of postings forthwith.
When contacted, Director School Education Jammu Dr Ravi Shanker Sharma said that he had already issued direction to all CEO’s not to make any attachment or deployment without prior permission of authorities, that is why he cancelled the order of CEO Rajouri, which was in violation of his direction.
