Jammu, Apr 29: Former Municipal Corporation chairman and senior Congress leader Satish Sharma on Thursday appealed Jammu and Kashmir government to immediately convert Gangyal's Rajiv Gandhi Hospital as General Hospital and made open for public hospital without losing any time. Addressing Journalists Sharma said that South Jammu's main Gandhi Nagar Hospital has been designated as COVID hospital while people suffering with other common diseases face massive inconvenience. Satish Sharma said UPA 2 government had built this 100 bed hospital at a cost of 70 crores but unfortunately BJP government put this important hospital as a community dispencery. Satish said that if this hospital is made a general hospital, then it will benefit Gangyalal, Pramukhwani Greater Kailash, Sainik Colony Bandhurkh, Babliana, Industrial Area, Digiana, Dashmesh Nagar, Dadap, Roi Mor, Langar Apna Vihar, Ekta Vihar, Shanti Nagar areas. Satish requested Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to immediately issue an order and convert this as General Hospital. |
