| MD JPDCL reviews arrangements for 24x7 power supply to Oxygen Gas Plants | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 2: Managing Director, JPDCL Gurmeet Singh visited SIDCO Industrial Complex at Bari Brahmana today. Executive Engineer, Sub-Transmission Division-II, Assistant Executive Engineer, STD-II, Assistant Executive Engineer, ED-II and representative of M/s RECPDCL MD JPDCL along with other officers accompanied MD, JPDCL.
The work for providing dedicated feeder to highest capacity oxygen Gas Plant RSS Gasses was started on the instructions of MD, JPDCL to ensure 24x7 power supply without interruption and the work for the same shall be completed by 06-04-2021.
Explicit directions were passed by MD JPDCL to M/s RECPDCL on spot to charge the newly constructed 33/11 KV, 2x10 MVA R/Stn Birpur maximum by tomorrow so that two dedicated feeders for Valley Minerals Oxygen Gas Plant and Allied Gasses oxygen Gas Plant could be erected and commissioned by 07-05-2021. Gurmeet Singh also visited the other two Gas Plants including RS Cryogenic and Kashmir Gases and the power to these gas plants is stable.
The MD said that it should be the endeavour of all the engineers of JPDCL to ensure 24x7 power supply to all Oxygen gas plants under their jurisdiction and complete all associated works on war footing. He also prayed for the employees of PDD who lost their lives to the deadly virus and for those who have been fallen sick due to the Covid-19, he further asked the employees of PDD to take precautions as they have to work 24x7 to ensure uninterrupted power supply for the people. |
