AIMCCC expresses concern over burning of waste material in Jagti colony | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 5: In the meeting held at Jagti township under the chairmanship of president AIMCCC, Desh Rattan Pandita, serious note was taken for burning waste material in colony area. Complaints of suffocation in nearby buildings/blocks were received from people, mainly from senior citizens. This pollutes the air which can add to the chest diseases, particularly in present Covid panademic. Several requests were made earlier for transportation of same to some far of place but in vain. Secondly the concerned agencies in administration ,are requested to sanitize the colony buildings at an earliest possible time to control further spread of covid-19 panademic in this heavily congested colony, said Desh Rattan Pandita. Sub-District Health Centre Jagti which provides health cover facilities to the people of colony and other people of large area surrounding it, be facilitated with full infrastructure i.e. medicines, machinery and specialist doctors in every deptt of hospital which is urgent need of the hour. No doubt, concerned I/C of hospital and other staff work sincerely but the shortfalls need to be resolved. Administration is once again requested to take serious note of things as requested so that no crisis arise with regard to health issues any more. |
