| Kishtwar administration notified micro containment zones | | |

Kishtwar, May 5: Following the death of a women, Kishtwar administration declared Umar Mohallah Ward No.11/12 in the heart of Kishtwar town as micro containment zone following which the administration seal the area.
As per the details available with Early Times, ACR Kishtwar Akthar Hussain Qazi along with Dy. SP HQ Kishtwar Davinder Singh & Tehsildar Kishtwar Pramood Kumar visited the area and interacted with the people.
Tehsildar Kishtwar also make announcement on public address system declaring umar mohalla as containment zone. Umar mohalla people termed the sealing by kishtwar administration as bluff and demanded 100 % testing in the containment zone added that the people living innthe area are poor and mostly run their day to affair on day labour bases.
Speaking to Early Times, ACR Kishtwar said that administration is taking all precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the COVID 19 and called upon the people to cooperate with the administration by following SOPs so that the deadly disease could be kept at bay.
Qazi said that the hundred percent testing in the micro containment zone will begin tomorrow morning and urged upon the people to come forward for testing. He urged upon the people of Muslim community to follow the guidelines issued by the government during upcoming holly festivals of Jumat-ul-Vida, Shab e Qadar and Eid and said that it is responsibility of the every individual to play its part in safeguarding the life of the people. |
