DC Kishtwar discusses modalities for formulation of Capex Budget 2021-22

Kishtwar, May 6: To discuss the modalities for the formulation of plan under District Capex Budget 2021-2022, Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today convened a meeting of District officers and Block Development Officers, here at DC Office Complex Mini secretariat Kishtwar.
Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal,Assistant commissioner Development Kishore Singh Katoch,CMO kishtwar Dr R S Manhass besides other District officers, BDOs and XEns were also present in the meeting.
During the course of the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner discussed the various projects to be undertaken by PWD and PMGSY and discussed the financial implication in the upgradation of the road infrastructure in the district.
Laying special stress on the road,water and electricity connectivity of leftout habitation, he directed the concerned officers to project routine work without any encumbrances in the budget for the FY 2021-22 that can be completed in the stipulated time besides asked for framing plans in consultation with concerned BDCs, PRIs.
He stressed all officers to start the works after getting proper TS, AA and after the completion of other Codal formalities and in case of any hindrances take up the matter to their concerned higher ups for immediate resolution of impediments.
He asked all the district officers to work in tandem for smooth and effective completion of Developmental works besides asked to work in coordinated manner to avoid the overlapping of the works in their respective jurisdiction
Meanwhile, he instructed officers to utilize available funds under the Capex Budget and other capital heads as per the fixed timelines to avoid the lapse of funds.
The modalities for the development of playfield in each Panchayat, handing over of the completed sub centre buildings to indenting departments, construction of new building at Model Hr. Sec school Kishtwar were also discussed in detail in the meeting.
He directed CMO Kishtwar to formulate the plan for Block level Health infrastructure and equipment so that the the ground level health scenario of the district will be satisfactorily improved to tackle the situation of COVID19 pandemic in an effecient and effective manner.
CMO Kishtwar was asked to prioritise the work of drainage system in the district Hospital Kishtwar besides he was directed to lay special stress on the laying and fitting of pipe-line in isolation wards of district Hospital Kishtwar ahead of the installation of Oxygen generators in the DH so that the safety of public in general and COVID 19 patients in particular shall be ensured.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the concerned officers to submit their plan under District Capex Budget before 8th May 2021 so that the projects can be completed well in time for the convenience of the people.
Besides he stressed all the district officer to update the MPR of all the languishing works by today evening.
