| Citizen's Forum for making vaccination in UT mandatory | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 6: Citizen's Forum has request Jitendra Singh MOS and LG . Manoj Sinha that in the wake of center government's realization that 3rd wave of Covid is inevitable so the testing facilities and vaccination process of entire population of UT should be made mandatory.
R K Chadha President Citizen's forum said the analysis of deaths in Maharashtra and Himachal Pradesh has shown that vaccines have lowered mortality rate. Testing and vaccination of more and more people will save their lives in the coming days. It is noted the death rate in Israiel is minimum because of its 70% population vaccinated.
We request that for testing and vaccination of population involve army establishments small or big , in J&K UT as these units are very much scattered in the main cities , and are easy to approach by the nearby residing citizens. These establishments have always been used for " Do Boondey Zindagi Ki" doses for small children in entire country. We once again request you to defer medium and large UT projects of uncommon nature and take up this Covid Challenge project to meet the future threat. |
