JAMMU, May 14: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) Jammu along with other social activists paid rich tributes to Bhagwan Parshuram on the eve of his Jayanti from their respective houses because of Covid-19 lockdown restrictions. Pertinent to mention here that the scheduled three-day long celebrations were already been cancelled by the Sabha due to prevalent scenario. DBPS President Ved Prakash Sharma, VM Magotra, Advocate P. C. Sharma, N.C. Sharma, Satyanand Sharma, Subash Shastri, Romesh Sharma, Adv Chander Mohan Sharma, Sat Pal Sharma, Raman Sharma, Gurdas Sharma, Sunil Sharma and members of other units of the Sabha while paying tributes to Bhagwan Parshuram also prayed for well being of the people around the world to get rid of Covid 19 impact. They also appealed to the people to stay inside their homes and maintain social distancing. They further lauded the services by doctors, paramedical staff, paramilitary forces, J&K Police, NGOs, Akhil Bharatiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti volunteers and others, adding that UT, J&K administration is leaving no stone unturned to contain Covid-19 pandemic. However, Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha thanked Lt Governor for greeting on the eve of Bhagwan Parshuram. |
