ACR Kishtwar inspects COVID care centres at HSS Binoon,Bounjwah

Kishtwar, May 17: To take stock of the steps taken by District administration Kishtwar headed by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma for the safety of people amid COVID19 pandemic and to review the enforcement of containment measures in the Bonjwah area of district kishtwar, Assistant commissioner Revenue Kishtwar Akhter Hussain Qazi today visited the designated COVID Care centres established at Higher secondry school Binoon of block Bounjwah and took stock of Covid care measures there.
He was accompanied by Tehsildar Bounjwah Irshad Ahmed Butt, NT patnazi Jaimal Singh besides other concerned officers of the Health and revenue department.
Tehsildar Bounjwah apprised the ACR that this COVID care centre which has the capacity of 30 beds has been established under his personal guidance while taking care of all the facilities to be provided to the inmates. Besides he informed that availability of necessary medicare utilities and logistics have been ensured in the centre.
During his visit at the COVID care centre established at HSS Binoon, ACR kishtwar personally inspected the sanitary measures in and around the centre and directed tehsildar Bounjwah to ensure the availability of safe drinking water and sanitary arrangement for the COVID positive patients to be brought there besides he reviewed the other arrangements placed in the centre.
He interacted the staff present there and asked them to ensure the safety of themselves and patients by strictly following the SOPs and COVID appropriate behaviour. During the meeting with the members of the surveillance team,he directed them to continue the door to door drive of identifying the potential COVID positive patients and update the data on daily basis.
Meanwhile ACR Kishtwar also inspected the enforcement of corona curfew in the areas and directed tehsildar Bounjwah to ensure the enforcement of the corona curfew in letter and spirit for successfully breaking the chain.
He further directed tehsildar Bonjwah to work in coordination with health department to accelerate vaccination of leftout persons above 45 years of age in the area by conducting Vaccination drives in camp mode.
During the visit, he also interacted with the prominant persons and PRIs of the area and urged them to aware the people to stay indoors and follow the corona curfew and other guidelines issued by Govt from time to time to bay the pandemic.
