PM Modi stopped Pak from abetting, exporting terror: Kavinder
5/18/2021 12:02:16 AM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, May 17: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has successfully tamed Pakistan by showing it the real might of India by surgical strikes and air attack on terrorist launching pads teaching the rogue nation a lesson of life.
In a statement issued on Monday, the BJP leader said that his party under the dynamic leadership of PM Modi has succeeded in wiping out terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir, and the security forces are on job to even clear the residual terror mongers so that peace and prosperity get another chance to sprout and J&K becomes better place to live.
He said that despite height of enmity PM Modi carried out meaningful talks with his Pakistani counterpart and brought ultimate peace along the IB and LoC by way of rejuvenation of 2003 ceasefire pact in the month of February, 2021.
“As guns replaced geese along the borders the infiltration attempts by Pakistan have also plummeted considerably because the security forces have been given free hand by the Prime Minister”, he said, adding that the gaps which earlier Pakistan misused for abetting and exporting terror in India have been plugged by the alert security forces and the resourceful intelligence agencies making it almost impossible for Pakistan to even look beyond borders.
Kavinder said that the frequent incidents of drones hovering along borders for surveillance or making unsuccessful attempts to smuggle arms or narcotics is testimony to the fact that India has bolstered its defence line under BJP government and now enemy cannot even look at this side of the border.
Kavinder categorically said that PM Modi during run up to Lok Sabha polls had avowed to abrogate Article 370, wipe out terrorism from J&K, teach Pakistan a befitting lesson and change the development profile of the region. “Whatever was promised has been done on ground and BJP government is still moving apace to ensure that J&K touches pinnacle of progress and peace although COVID-19’s second wave has snarled the process to some extent”, he said and added that BJP Government in the Centre and the J&K Administration are treading ahead of time and soon all the bottlenecks coming in the way of development will be removed and the UT will see a new dawn of peace and progress.
