Prof JP Singh, president JKUPF and Mohan Parkah Aggarwal, chairman NWGOD in a statement said that the Congress president showing her serious concern into the ground situation arising due to Covid-19 pandemic has taken a commendable decision to form a committee headed by Ghulam Nabi Azad as its chairman along with a team of senior leaders. They said that Ghulam Nabi Azad is fully skilled and had vast experience to deal with the crisis situation, adding that under his command the Congress workers shall be charged in assisting the Covid patients at their locations and take active part in the arrangements being made in this behalf by the government and other social organizations. JKPCC has also converted all its committees as Covid Monitoring at Provincial and District Block levels which too is good, but there is no visibility of the Congress on the ground anywhere in Jammu and Kashmir.
