Any inhuman or degrading behavior adopted by a violent person must be condemned in the strongest possible terms and it must be ensured that the person concerned is punished in a way that is effective in the long run. But in the context of such incidents, we must also have in our hearts and minds a sense of shared responsibility to maintain social and communal harmony, which has become an important need of the hour.
In modern society, social media is the platform to mobilize and collectively present public opinion. A platform that has the potential to make the voice against injustice and oppression stronger. It is easy to know one’s own opinion on a subject. The goal can be literary, political or commercial. There is hardly a better and faster way to reach the majority of people at the same time than today’s society.
