| GDC Marh organizes Online awareness program | | |
Early Times Report
Jammu, May 19: Government Degree College Marh under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahostava in collaboration with Psychological and Career Counseling Cell organized one day online awareness programme regarding appropriate psychological behavior in COVID-19 under the supervision and guidance of Prof. Aekta Gupta, Principal GDC Marh.
The program was started with the formal welcome of the resource person Dr. Shaveta Bhagat, Sr. Psychiatry in GMC Kathua, Health and Medical Department by Prof. Aekta Gupta, Principal of the College where she stressed that there is dire need of such programs to cope the psychological issues among the society which causes fear and Anxiety affecting adversely the health of individuals.
The resource person Dr. Shaveta spoke at length about the appropriate behavior manners and tips for overcome the stress by health practices and positive attitude including physical exercises, healthy diet, proper sleep etc.
The proceedings were forwarded by Sachin Bhagat, Convenor Azadi ka amrit Mahostava whereas vote of thanks was presented by Asha Kumari, Convenor of Psychological and Career Counseling Cell.
All staff members, NSS volunteers and student of the college participated in the online program and technical support was provided by Shallu Gupta, HOD Computer Applications. |
