Son hits father with cricket bat multiple times, almost kills him | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, May 28: In a shocking incident a son almost killed his father with a cricket bat as the son along with his mother are allegedly trying to grab the property of the man located at a prime location at Bemina. The incident took place at Bemina where the man lives alone since his children are living with their mother Hamida Matta at Lane G Alamdar Colony Rawalpora. Reports said that the man Zahoor Ahmad Bhat was attacked multiple times by his son with the cricket bat and it seemed that he did so under the influence of the drugs. Zahoor sustained injuries in his head, arms and legs. It was only after the intervention of neighbours that Zahoor was saved otherwise he might have been eliminated. He was shifted to the hospital where the necessary tests were carried out. Zahoor along with his friends and neighbours registered a complaint with the police station Police Station Batmaloo and urged the police to take necessary action in the case so that such incidents are not repeated. They said that the boy identified as Syed Murtaza has been emboldened due to the shielding by his mother and both of them want to snatch the property since it is located at a prime location at Bemina. Talking to Early Times Zahoor who retired from government services some months back said that his wife has time and again said that their children are abandoned adding that today it has been proved that the children are not his real children. He said that his son was instigated by his wife to carry out attack on him so as to eliminate him. Zahoor said that he has decided to disassociate from his wife and children adding that he tried his best to save the relationship, but the same is not possible given the hostile nature of his wife. He appealed the law enforcing agencies to take stern action against the guilty so that his life is saved. |
