Kishtwar police rescues 80 bovine animals, six persons arrested | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, May 28: Kishtwar Police foiled a huge bovine smuggling bid, by rescuing 80 bovines from different Nakas of Kathkai area of Chatroo and arrested six persons for their involvement in the smuggling of bovine animals. A team of Police Station Chatroo led by Inspector Sandeep Parihar, SHO PS Chatroo intercepted six persons namely Laqit Ali S/O Ghulam Rasool Mir R/O Gudna Doda, Ashiq Hussain S/O Ghulam Radool Butt R/O Alhan Violoo, Adil Hussain S/O Abdul Rashid Naikoo R/O Humgudool Violoo Ananthnag, Showkit Ali S/O Mohd Abdullah R/O Gudna Doda, Ashiq S/O Ghulam Rasool R/O Gudna Doda & Nazir Ahmed S/O Mohd Abdullah R/O Gudna Doda who were taking the bovines toward Kashmir without any permission or any other documentation from concerned authority. On this three FIRs viz FIR No. 24/2021, 25/2021 & 26/2021 U/S 188/IPC, 11 PCA Act were registered at PS Chatroo and investigations taken up. SSP Kishtwar Shafqat Hussain Batt said that the stern and tough action will be taken against such anti-social elements. |
