PM stands with children who lost parents due to pandemic: Kavinder | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 30: Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader, Kavinder Gupta has hailed the decision of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing the most humane issue of providing monetary support to the children who lost their parents due to COVID-19. He was addressing people and party cadre during a function organized here today on the successful completion of seven years of Modi government at the centre. The former Dy CM said that the decision shows that PM stands with the children of the nation who has lost their parents in the ongoing pandemic. He said the whole nation stands behind these children who shall now get a monthly stipend once they turn 18 and a fund of Rs. 10 lakh when they turn 23 out of the PM CARES. Besides, they would be provided free education and would also be entitled to free health insurance of Rs. 5 lakh under Ayushman Bharat till they attain the age of 18 years. Moreover, these children will be assisted and guided in getting education loans including for higher education and the best part of the scheme is that interest on these loans will be paid from PM CARES fund. The former deputy CM today participated in multiple functions organized to mark the successful completion of seven years of Modi Government at the Centre. These included participation in the Ayush medical camp where he distributed immunity booster medicines useful in fight against pandemic, among the people.
