Don’t fall prey to fake propaganda
5/31/2021 12:32:27 AM
Al the experts and medicos have rebuffed the news that people taking Covid vaccines will die within 2-years. The Nobel prize winner to whom the statement was attributed to has made it clear that he was misquoted and he only said that the “virus would keep on mutating” as more amore people get vaccinated.
The fake news about vaccinated people dying within 2-years has created fear psychosis and has added to the vaccine hesitancy among the common people. This propaganda has been countered by one and all.
People should stop paying any heed towards such misinformation campaigns and come forward to take the COVID-19 jab as at present it’s the only protection available against the virus. Till date no medicine has been manufactured to cure the virus and the vaccines only can act as shields.
People should realize that millions of men and women have got vaccinated across the globe during the past few months and no one has died after taking the jab. Researchers and scientists are working overtime to come up with a permanent cure for Covid and the vaccine has been the result of their relentless hard work.
The data reveals that vaccinated people who got infected during the second wave of COVID-19 survived and didn’t develop any serious problems. The vaccines are safe and are working. It has been proven beyond doubt.
The elders in Jammu region are leading from the front 120-year old Dholi Devi of remotest Dudu area of Udhampur district volunteered herself for vaccination to inspire others, 118-year-old Sher Mohammad of the most backward Mahore tehsil of Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir took the jab to counter the misinformation about the inoculation. It has been more than a year since we have been fighting COVID-19. The two waves of the virus have proven it beyond any doubt that it can turn deadly at any point of time that too without any intimation. The vaccines are the only way to develop herd immunity and for that people need to give up hesitancy.
The government should take stern action against the rumour mongers and the elements, who are spreading misinformation. This propaganda needs to be countered. Besides following the COVID-19 appropriate behavior we need to keep ourselves aware about the happenings around us. All of us have to become researchers just believing in what’s being fed to us won’t help anyone’s cause.
