Intern’l Art Exhibition dedicated to Front Line Warriors of Covid- 19

Jammu, May 30: Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu is organizing its 9th International Art Exhibition (Online) on 6th June, 2021. The exhibition dedicated to the Front Line Warriors of Covid- 19 Pandemic, will be inaugurated online by T S Batra, a senior artist & former principal, Institute of Music & Fine Arts (IMFA), University of Jammu. Kewal K Sharma, President JKCCA will be the guest of honour at the inaugural ceremony.
According to O P Sharma, Director, JKCCA, ‘In the times of second devastating state of Covid- 19 Pandemic, the creative people have been doing their best to acknowledge the services of Frontline Warriors of Covid- 19 Pandemic. JKCCA has made efforts to organize the 9th International Art Exhibition (Online), to pay rich tributes to the Front Line Warriors who are working day & night for the wellness of the people of the whole world.’
The exhibition has been divided into two segments i.e. Invitees’ Section and Artists’ Section. The invitees section of the exhibition would display the art works of V S Rahi and A K Dixit, New Delhi, N D Jamwal, Gokel Dembi, M A Mehboob and Jang S. Verman, J&K, Sunil Saxena, Saroj Rani and Rekha Kakkar, UP, Ashok Gupta, UA, Bandana Nath, Assam, Neena Singh, MR, G Y Gari, AP, and Fareha Zeba and Mini Karim, Bangla Desh.
The other participating artists in the show are Jasleen Singh, Amrit Kaur, Ashok Mehra, Santosh Tiku, Bodh Raj Baldhotra, Archana Choudhary, Sireesha Srinivas, Madhavi Sharma, Jammu, O P Sharma, Kamal Nain Bhan, Isha Sharma, Deepa Soni, Ganesh Kumar Sharma, Sanjogita Dogra, Shivani Bhat Koul, Sukhwinder Kaur, Rekha Sharma, and Rajwinder Kaur and many others. The 9th International Art Exhibition (online), curated by Sharma is projecting the art works displaying the divergent styles, techniques and expressions by the artists, in varied art genres. It may be mentioned here that JKCCA was established way back in 1999. It is a matter of satisfaction that the NGO has so far organized hundreds of art & culture activities within and outside the state.
