JAMMU, May 30: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee today held “Sarv-Dharam Prarthana Sabha” to offer prayers for the eternal peace of all those who died of Covid, to pray for strength to their family members and Kith and kin and to pray for the early recovery of all those suffering from covid disease besides seeking blessings for the lives of all corona warriors rendering services in different forms in the situation.
The prarthana Sabha was attended by Former Minister and Vice President pcc Raman Bhalla, Senior leaders Th Balwan Singh(Ex-MLA), Yogesh Sawhney (Former Minister), Ravinder Sharma, Sardar Gurdarshan Singh, Ch Rasheed, Nadeem Sharief NIAZ(DDC Member), Ghulam Mohiuddin and Ritu Chaudhary- Corporators, Michael Wazir, Jatin Vashisht and Anirudh Sawhney.
The Leaders of different faiths and religions offered prayers to the almighty for the eternal peace to the departed souls of those who died do far and to give strength to their family members and relatives besides praying for the early recovery of those suffering from the disease.
Briefing media persons, chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma said that the party has launched the “Sarv Dharam prarthana sabhas” to held at different places in the region to share the grief and sufferings of the families of Covid victims, and to seek the blessings of the almighty and God in accordance with different faiths and religions to pray for the well being of the human race fellow citizens. He lashed out at the BJP for shamelessly celebrating the seven years of Modi government when the citizens are dying for want of proper health facilities and lakhs others are suffering from the disease besides large scale black marketing of essential commodities and unprecedented price hike and unemployed. |
