| Dy Mayor visits Covid vaccination centre in Ward No 19 | | |

JAMMU, June 4: Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Purnima Sharma along with Corporator Amit Gupta conducted a visit of Covid vaccination centre at JDA parking in Ward No 19 and took a review of the ongoing vaccination drives.
During the visit, Purnima Sharma reviewed the sanitation condition of the Covid Vaccination Centres and also interacted with the individuals who had come to get vaccinated with their first dose of Covid vaccine.
Speaking on the occasion, Purnima Sharma said that today we are visiting the vaccination centre at JDA parking where the vaccination drive of 18-44 Years age group which also includes local shopkeepers, street vendors, shop helpers, etc, has been started.
Deputy Mayor further said that every individual should get themselves vaccinated as soon as possible as this will help in ensuring their safety from COVID-19 virus as well as further help in winning the battle against coronavirus. At the end, Deputy Mayor JMC appealed to the general public not to wander out of their houses unnecessarily as COVID-19 cases are on the rise again and only to go out when it’s important and while wearing masks and practicing social distancing. |
