Dr Farooq day dreaming about restoring Articles 370, 35-A: Kavinder | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 4: The former Deputy Chief Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader, Kavinder Gupta has castigated the National Conference President and former CM of Jammu and Kashmir Dr Farooq Abdullah for parroting the demand of restoration of Statehood to Jammu and Kashmir. He stated this during his visit to Ward No 3 where he had gone to take stock of problems and issues of the people. Responding to the statement of Dr Farooq Abdullah while addressing provincial committee members the other day in which he had said, “Our priority will remain the restoration of Statehood and Articles 370 and 35-A,” the former Deputy Chief Minister said that Farooq Abdullah is living in a fools’ paradise and is daydreaming about restoring Articles 370 and 35-A as the same are gone once for all. However, issuing such statements by a former CM is indeed a matter of serious concern that deserves full condemnation. Kavinder Gupta said that abrogation of Article 370 was the main demand of people of J&K that had been over due and BJP has fulfilled this long pending demand of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, Kavinder Gupta during an interaction with the people in Ward No: 3 and listened patiently to their grievances. While appreciating Corporator Narottam Sharma for his sincere efforts in resolving people’s issues, Kavinder assured the people that all their pending issues shall soon be taken up with the concerned authorities and addressed within the shortest possible time.
