| GDC Doda nominated at national level under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan | | |
EARLY TIMES REPORT
DODA, June 4: Government Degree College (GDC) Doda got nominated under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) at national level, the intimation for the same was received from Ministry of Human Resource Development Govt of India today.
This feat is achieved under the guidance of the College Principal Dr Shafqat H Rafiqui. Principal in his message congratulated Dr Ajaz Ahmed Wani, IQAC Coordinator and HOD Zoology for his efforts, other staff members and students for this achievement. Unaat Bharat Abhiyan is to promote development of rural areas in tune with the Gandhian vision of self sufficient village republic based on local resources and using decentralized and eco-friendly technologies so that the basic requirements are locally met. The mission of UBA is to enable higher educational institutions to work with the people of rural India in identifying developmental challenges and evolving appropriate solutions for accelerating sustainable growth of the society. |
