| Plantation Drive held on the occasion of International Environment day | | |

REASI, June 4: In continuation to the plantation drives initiated by Sanjeev Sharma, Teacher from so many years especially in the campuses of Government Schools of zone Pouni, today on the special occasion of International Environment day plantation held at GGHSS Reasi and GHS Ghairmadi in which saplings of ayurvedic plants were planted.
Vijay Kumar Verma, Range Forest officer Reasi along with Sugam Bral Block Forest officer Reasi,Vipan Sharma I/C Principal GGHSS Reasi, Jugal Kishore Headmaster GHS Ghairmadi, Narinder Sharma Teacher GHS Ghairmadi extended full support in plantation drives.
Plantation was organized under the guidelines of Mushtaq Ahmed Chief Education officer Reasi Who while speaking to correspondent disclosed the mission behind mega plantation drives in school campuses of district Reasi is to create awareness among children and community regarding environmental sensitization on the special occasion of International Environment day.
Ved Kumar Sharma Forest Range officer Lamberi hailed the initiative of a teacher who from so many years creating environmental sensitization and plantation drives especially in naked zone of the mountainous area of Ikhani in collaboration with the Forest Department.
Forest officers assured more support in further plantation drives being organized by the teachers in beautifying the premises of Government schools. |
