JAMMU, June 8: In an online meeting held today under the Presidentship of Dr Prithvi Paul Raina, All J&K Plus 2 Officers Association hailed the decision of the Principal Secretary School Education Department for effectively and efficiently affecting transfers of about 1000 Lecturers in a transparent manner.
Addressing the meeting, Rain said that there was a time when the transfer orders of Lecturers and Masters were being distributed/ sold on reharies and shops and sometimes the rate lists were seen pasted on the walls of the Directorate of School Education Jammu. But, after the joining of Anuradha Gupta as Director School Education Jammu in 2018, all the touts involved in Transfer Industry got dried due to strict vigil by the then Director . Now, due to transparency shown by the Administrative Principal Secretary BK Singh in Annual Transfer Drive (ATD) 2021, the sincere Plus 2 Cadre members have received a sigh of relief as the corruption free transfers are taking place and in the same way the Principal Secretary has got regularized about more than 1200 Incharge Principals, CEOs and Jt Directors.
We the members of the Association hail such decisions and actions of the Government of JKUT and thank the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, and the Advisor RK Bhatnagar who have given free hand to such a visionary, competent and honest officer to resolve all issues related to SED in a very transparent and efficient manner, the participants said.
