Young social activist selected for Asia Humanitarian Award | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 8: Parmjeet Singh a young social activist from Jammu and Kashmir got selected for "Asia Humanitarian Award." He is working as a founding member-cum-secretary of "Global Human Rights Trust" and working for downtrodden people's at grass root level. He belong to a small village of Harrogh in District Ramban and working with his team member with tireless efforts. Parmjeet Singh has been honoured for his great contribution to the society led awareness complain for plantation of trees and planted more than thousand trees in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir. He led campaign and fight against social evils (such as fight against alcoholism, drug addiction, domestic violence, nepotism and corruption).
He along with his team member fight for the eradication of Hunger distribute food ,mask and sanitizer during covid- 19. He gave exceptional voluntary service to environmental conservation. He is well educated done master in sociology from Jammu university and UGC net qualified. He has been honoured by Kalam Ratna award by Kalam foundation. He is working as a social activist since last seven in different organizations.
He was the former state press secretary of AISF of Jammu & Kashmir and International Human Rights Activist. He work during day and night for the welfare of society . He is ambitious to eradicate all social evils practices in our society and make a welfare nation . |
