| Fill up vacant posts of CEOs, ZEOs, Principals; demands ABVP | | EARLY TIMES PREORT JAMMU, June 8: A delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Jammu Kashmir today called on Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ). The delegation presented a memorandum to DSEJ regarding their various issues and demands.
ABVP delegation told DSEJ that 52 Education Zones out of total 97, as many as 121 Government Higher Secondary Schools and 348 High Schools are lying headless for long while five districts of the region including Jammu, Udhampur, Kathua, Samba and Poonch are without Chief Education Officers (CEOs), adding that these vacancies should be filled with immediate effect. ABVP Jammu Kashmir State Secretary, Mukesh Manhas said that it is the need of the hour to fill all the vacant posts for proper and smooth functioning of the institutions so that the administrative work and study of the students should not suffer. Director School Education Jammu Dr Ravi Shankar Sharma assured that all the vacant post of CEOs, ZEOs, Principals and Head masters will be filled within stipulated time. Others who were part of the delegation include Ramnik Sharma State Joint Secretary, Chahat Anand State Working Committee member, Akshay Jammu Mahanagar Secretary and Dhanak Sharma.
