| GDC Paloura organizes webinar on financial awareness | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 8: Government Degree College (GDC) Paloura, Jammu in collaboration with NSE and Cafe Mutual Mumbai organized a webinar on financial awareness for the faculty and students of the college. Raghunandan Pattanaik, National Trainer- BFSI was the resource person on the occasion.
He started his lecture with information regarding SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) which monitors and regulates the Indian Capital and Securities Market and also protects the interests of the investors. Discussing “SCORES” - the complaints redress system of SEBI, he informed that investors can get their issues resolved here.
Further, he discussed at length how one can carefully do investment planning for the future by moving forward from traditional to modern investment and create wealth. The audience was made aware about the importance of investments with respect to financial goals like - Dream House, Children Education, Wedding, Healthcare etc. He also shared the information regarding investment strategies for beginners, investment in government bonds, government securities, gold, SIPs etc. The queries of the participants were resolved by the resource person in a satisfactory manner. |
