| 62 promoted in SDRF/ Home Guards | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, June 8: A Departmental Promotion Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of V. K. Singh, DGP-cum-Commandant General Home Guards/ Civil Defence & SDRF J&K for considering the promotions of SDRF and Home Guards personnel to their next rank.
Consequently, 23 Assistant Sub-Inspectors were promoted to the rank of Sub-Inspectors, 7 Head Constables were promoted to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors and 32 SG Constables were promoted to the rank of Head Constables. Thus, in total, 62 personnel have been promoted to their next rank. The Commandant General has extended congratulations the promotees and their families.
V. K. Singh, DGP-cum-Commandant General Home Guards/ Civil Defence & SDRF J&K visited (June 08, 2021) Covid Care Centres established at Chest Disease Hospital Srinagar, JVC (SKIMS) Bemina and Hajj House alongwith Dr. Talat Jabeen, Epidemiologist/SSO Kashmir and interacted with the SDRF/NDRF personnel deployed for duties at these Centres.
The Commandant General lauded the role of personnel who worked tirelessly at these centres. In order to boost their morale, the Commandant General announced grant of Commendation Certificates Class-I alongwith cash reward of Rs 2000/- each to the SDRF / NDRF personnel. |
