| Consider positively issues concerned with POJK Sharnarthees | | |

Jammu, June 23: All J&K 1947 POJK Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum convened a general house meeting under the leadership of Adv Amrik Singh and joined by S.Surjit.Singh general secretary of Forum in connection with All J&K Party meet with Prime Minister Narinder Modi and other central ministers to be held at New Delhi.
The Forum took it a positive step and appeal to participants belonging to J&K UT and especially to PM to positively consider the issues concerned with the POJK sharnarthees like defreezing of Legislative 24 Assembly seats kept for POJK displaced persons belonging to Poonch, Muzaffarabad, Mirpur and Bhimber. They Further reiterated that the dispute between Indo Pak ultimately has been finished after scraping the controversial Art.370 and 35 A by the Indian Parliament with thumping majority. They expressed their reservation that since 1951 we are being ignored by our due share of representation, in Parliament as well as in Assembly seats and on otherwise Pakistan Govt. has released the seats for those people who have left J&K.in 1947. The Forum further elaborate that the delimitation Commission is set to submit its report to Govt. keeping in view the sentiments of J&K POJK Sharnarthees at least 8 seats may be defreezed for displaced persons belongs to POJK and demand every distt.of POJK may be given representation. |
