| Dogra writes to Mir to raise OBC issue | | |

Jammu, June 23: Suresh Kumar Dogra today wrote a letter requesting Ghulam Ahmed Mir to raise the issues of OBC peoples in All Party Meeting, scheduled to be held tomorrow. Dogra requested him ,"As nobody has raised the voice of underprivileged peoples belonging to OBC after abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35 from Jammu and Kashmir and also all central laws have been imposed in our J&K, by the Union Government but only poor peoples of OBC have been deprived of their legal and constitutional rights. He was requested to put forward the demands of OBC peoples which included implementation of Mandal Commission Report which guarantees 27 % Reservations to OBC like others states and UTs of the Country, Political Reservation, OBC Status despite of OSC status. (Change of Nomenclature), Induction ( Index) of OBC population in the Census of 2021,is the major demand, age relaxation in the services and enhancement of creamy layer from 8 lakh to 15 lakh. |
