| ZEO Pouni holds mass plantation drive | | |

REASI, June: ZEO Pouni installed water pots for birds in various schools under the initiative of Save Birds in summers and held mass plantation drive in various schools of Zone Pouni including GHSS Pouni under the guidelines of CEO Reasi Mohd Aziz.
The mass plantation campaign was led by Sanjeev Kumar Sharma Teacher posted in farflung School of winter zone Pouni District Reasi who is constantly leading the plantation drives in schools with the mission to beautify school premises. In past years plantation has been held by the efforts of said teacher in various schools of District Reasi viz GHSS Reasi, GHS Ghair Madi, GHS Pouni, GHS Ransoo, GHS Kund Khanyari, GMS Kahana, GMS Bharakh and all winter zone schools of Zone Pouni. Such volunteer initiatives by the teaching community are quite encouraging and can motivate the community including students for green revolution in the times to come, said SP Khajuria.
On the occasion, under the initiative of Save Birds during summers, water pots for birds were also installed in trees for water facility to birds in extreme summers in GHSS Pouni and GHS Pouni in presence of SP Khajuria I/C ZEO Pouni and Daljit kour HM GHS Pouni. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma Teacher thanked all teaching fraternity including officials of forest Department for all support in making the campaign a grand success.
