All Govt deptts to have public complaint boxes, one online service soon: DC Doda

DODA, June 28: District administration Doda is bracing up for installation of public complaint boxes in all government departments and providing one online service for the convenience of the people.
Deputy Commissioner (DC), Vikas Sharma, asked the functionaries to take necessary steps in this regard. He was chairing a meeting to review the compliance of the directions of LG with regard to the installation of complaint boxes as well as to have one online public service at District level.
The DC strictly directed all the concerned officers to ensure installation of Complaint boxes in all Government offices as per the prescribed format by or before Wednesday. He said that any laxity in this regard shall invite strict action against the erring officers.
Moreover the DC directed the concerned Officers to ensure that the grievances are disposed of on a daily basis and ensure maintenance of the register for the same without any fail. He further asked them to submit the report to the ACR who is the Nodal Officer at district level, at the end of every month.
Similarly, the DC directed all the district officers to male provision for providing one public service online other than the other National as well as UT level online services. He asked them to take necessary support from the NIC officer, if needed.
The DC informed that the aim of providing this online platform is to decrease the footfall of the people in the offices especially amid Coronavirus scare.
Meanwhile, the DC also reviewed the status of estimation and progress on ongoing works under District Capex. In this regard, the DC directed the executing agencies to expedite the estimation of all new works and ongoing works.
Besides, the DC asked the departments not to miss the deadline of works targeted to be completed this year. He directed the REW to fast track the estimation of all works approved under ADP for expeditious tendering and AA process.
The meeting was attended by ADC Doda, CPO Doda, SE PWD, ACD Doda, ACP Doda, CMO Doda, EX Ens, Besides other District Officers.
