Jammu, Jun 28: Abhay Kumar Singh, CMD, NHPC visited UT of J&K from 25.06.2021 to 27.06.2021 and reviewed the progress of works of 1000 MW Pakal Dul HE Project, 624 MW Kiru HEP, 540 MW Kwar HEP and 930 MW Kirthai-II HE Project being implemented by CVPPPL.
During the visit, he was accompanied by A.K. Choudhary, MD, CVPPPL, Rajan Kumar, CGM , NHPC RO, Jammu along with Sr officers of NHPC Ltd and CVPPPL.
Enroute on 25.06.2021, he visited sites of major components of 850 MW Rattle HE Project being implemented by Ratle Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited (a JV of NHPC & JKSPDC) in Chenab Valley, J&K.
Singh met with Farooq Khan, Advisor to Lt Governor of J&K UT at Kishtwar wherein various issues of Projects were discussed.
CMD, NHPC visited Pakal Dul HE Project on 26.06.2021 and inaugurated 90 Mtr single span 70 R steel truss bridge on river Chenab and started MIV cavern concreting.
He interacted with the representatives of M/s Afcon-JAL JV, M/s L&T Ltd and M/s Voith Hydro Pvt Ltd. contractors of Pakal Dul HE project & reviewed the progress of works.
During his visit, Singh reviewed the progress of Power House Cavern, Transformer Hall Cavern, Bus Ducts, approach road to Surge Shaft Top, Surge Shaft Road Tunnel, Valve House, HRT-TBM Platform area and advised the concerned to put in more efforts to complete the activities within the stipulated time frame. During visit of Projects Singh also planted trees. On way to Kiru HE Project, Sh. Singh took a view of locations of major components of Kwar H.E Project
Singh implored upon all the stake holders to abide by the COVID-19 related protocols and advised all to get themselves and their family members vaccinated and participate in the nation’s fight against the pandemic. In the end, Sh. Singh thanked the officials of district administration Kishtwar for their support & cooperation. |
