GPC Nowshera demands action against perpetrators of forcible conversion of Sikh girls
Gives 48 hours ultimatum to J&K administration

SUNDERBANI, June 28: President of Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (GPC) Gurdwara Chhathi Patshahi Nowshera, Satwinder Singh Khalsa has condemned the forcible conversion of Sikh girls in Kashmir and getting them married to a 60-year-old man.
Addressing a press conference here today, Khalsa called the incident a reprehensible crime and urged the state administration to immediately take action against accused.
Lakhbir Singh gave an ultimatum of 48 hours to the state administration and said that if action is not taken within 2 days, then they will block the Jammu-Poonch highway and it will be difficult to handle the administration. If action not taken within two days administration will be responsible for it, he added. On the other hand, the Sanjay Singh from RSS said that the situation should be brought under control soon and the culprits should be given strict punishment.
