| 77 kanals of government land retrieved at Majalta | | |

Udhampur June 28: Revenue Department has retrieved 77 Kanals of the government land at Majalta here under Khasra number 2330 min and 1329. Tehsildar Majalta, Saqib Saleem along with field staff visited village the Satrari and demolished a structure raised by encroacher on the government land. Sources informed that the value of retrieved land as per stamp duty is Rs. 1, 11,86,600. Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Indu Kanwal Chib has strictly instructed all the Tehsils in Udhampur for eviction of grabbed government land. Tehsildar Majalta said, “Earlier too we have retrieved government land and demolished illegal structures at Battel Morh and other areas in tehsil Majalta and in future also such drives will continue. We warn encroachers to restrain from encroaching government land, common land, forest land as it would invite strict action under the law.”
