Ramban, June 30: National Old Pension Restoration United Front Jammu and Kashmir (NOPRUF-JK) which is a banner campaigning for restoration of old pension scheme (OPS) for NPS employees, made campaign successful today through out of India.
Pertinently the call for celebration as revoke NPS in India campaign was given by National President NOPRUF BP Singh Rawat.
The NPS employees all across the country participated in the campaign and lakh of #RevokeNpsInJ&k & #RestoreOldPension tweets were tweeted by employees. Accordingly hundreds of NPS employees from Jammu and Kashmir under the leadership of UT President NOPRUF-JK Gulzabair Daing and General Secretary Ashiq Jaral also participated in the campaign.
According to the campaign all Twitter holder NPS employees were supposed to demand the restoration of old pension scheme by tweeting on Twitter and were asked to tag the same to important portfolio holders in the government.
The aim of the campaign was to highlight the issue of NPS employees at national level in order to press the government to restore old pension scheme. UT President Gulzabair Daing while talking to media reporters said that NPS is not as good as OPS and employees would face a worst post-retirement life if OPS would not be restored soon. Meanwhile he demanded the central government to restore the OPS for the better future of lacs of families of employees.
The other leadership of UT Jammu and Kashmir who coordinated the employees to make the campaign successful includeAshiq Jaral UT General Secretary, Azad Hussain IT cell incharge ,Sarjeet Singh DP Ramban, Navrattan Kumar, Mohd Saleem District General Secretary Kishtwar, Hamiet Wani, Ekta Saraf, Tanveer Hussain DP Kishtwar, Mohd Saleem General Secretary Kishtwar, Navrattan Kumar, Amit Sharma, Sanjay Roy, Dr Ashok Kumar, Sanjay Sharma, Aabid Magray, Rajash Sharma, Arshad Abdullah, Majid Shakoor, Surjeet Singh, Majid Khan, Kalyan Singh, Firdoos Ahmed, Santosh Sombria, Sunayna Bhagat, Alyas Ahmed and many others.
