New dawn of democracy soon after delimitation: Kavinder
6/30/2021 11:39:00 PM

EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, June 30: The Jammu and Kashmir will soon witness new chapter of democracy with no room left for any kind of discrepancy or discrimination as the delimitation process has been started to eliminate all kinds of prejudices which used to hinder the justness in the political arena.
This was said by the senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta in a statement issued here on Wednesday.
The BJP stalwart congratulated the people of J&K on the start of delimitation process in the UT claiming that this will put an end to age old lopsidedness which stopped the region from getting a just share of power, funds and facilities.
He termed it as a good move for reorienting the democratic setup in the right perspective in Jammu and Kashmir UT.
Kavinder said that the beginning of new era in J&K by delimitation process has become a reality after the All Party Meet called by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a nod to it and the Assembly elections soon after this will also help in boosting the development which is people oriented as there is no comparison to a popular government.
He said that what PM Modi has accomplished in J&K no other political party or leader could have thought of doing the same.
He said that the completion of the delimitation process will restore democracy in true sense in the UT of J&K as earlier people misused the uneven segregation of seats.
