J&K Branch of ICAI holds plantation drive | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 30: The Jammu & Kashmir Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, in collaboration with Railway Police, Jammu organized a tree plantation drive in Jammu Tawi Railway Station with an objective to contribute in having a Green City & Clean Environment. The J&K Branch of ICAI took an initiative by planting 50 Saplings of various species of Trees to celebrate the onset of 73rd “Chartered Accountants’ Day”. Mohammad Arif Rishu, SSP Railway Police Jammu personally monitored the Tree Plantation drive. Under his supervision, Railway Police Jammu had deployed adequate manpower for making the Plantation Drive successful and had also provided gardeners on the occasion. He also directed the force to take adequate care of the plants during their initial growth stage & ensure their survival. CA. Vinay Jamwal, Chairman, J&K Branch of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India urged the public to take a Pledge to plant a tree in this season for the health of our planet and all living creatures. He thanked Railway Police Jammu & various members from CA fraternity who participated whole heartedly in the drive. He informed that the J&K ICAI would also be holding other events & social drives on the occasion of Chartered Accountants’ Day 2021. Vice Chairman, J&K ICAI , CA. Nakul Saraf, Past Chairmen, J&K ICAI CA. Shalay Razdan & CA. Lalit Kumar Gupta, along with other Senior Police officers of Railway Police Jammu and number of Chartered Accountants, CA Students and personnel of Railway Police, Jammu actively participated in making the drive successful. |
