| Councillor Parmodh Kapahi calls on AEE PDD | | |

JAMMU, June 30: Councillor Parmodh Kapahi along with a delegation of residents of Bhagwati Nagar Ward No 14 called on AEE PDD.
The Councillor Parmodh Kapahi informed the AEE about the complaints of damaged electric lines which he had been receiving since the past week.
Kapahi during the meeting said that in this scorching heat, the people of Bhagwati Nagar are suffering due to non availability of electricity as the line providing electricity is damaged and impose threat to the lives of the locals as the damaged line is sparking at the damaged places, even after informing the PDD since the past weeks still no action has been taken or initiated by the department to solve this issue.
He further said that if this problem of damaged line is not resolved soon enough, then he along with the people of the Bhagwati area will hold a protest against the JKPDD.
The AEE PDD ensured Kapahi that the cable will get replaced by the coming Saturday and nobody will suffer due to shortage of electric supply during the scorching heat.
