Online workshop on “Capacity Building Programme in Teaching of English’ held

JAMMU, June 30: Three day online workshop on “Capacity Building Programme in Teaching of English at Secondary Level organised by Education in Language Wing of SCERT Jammu J&K concludes today. The education in language wing of SCERT J&K (Jammu) organized a three day online workshop on “Capacity Building Programme in Teaching of English at Secondary Level w.e.f. 28-06-2021 to 30-06-2021.
The workshop was organised on the directions of Principal Secretary to Govt., School Education Department, B.K.Singh IFS and under the guidance of Director SCERT J&K, Prof. Veena Pandita. The workshop was inaugurated by the Joint Director SCERT Jammu, Surinder Kumar, who laid emphasis on the importance of such trainings. Four well known resource persons in the field of English, Sanjay Gupta, Darshan Sharma, Kamini Pathania and Geeta Bharti imparted training to the participants. A total of 48 teachers, masters and lecturers from all the 10 districts of Jammu Division attended the workshop which was coordinated by Nahida Anjum, Sr. academic officer SCERT Jammu and supervised by Kishore Kumar, Associate Prof and Head of Education in Language Wing of SCERT Jammu. Valedictory session was presided by Kishore Kumar, head of the wing and Nahida Anjum presented vote of thanks to all the RPs, participants and SCERT Jammu for successful conduction of the workshop.
