Jammu, June 30: A protest dharna was held by the Jagti tenement committee, soan kashmir front j&k today at Jagti township Nagrota Jammu in which Sh. Shadi Lal Pandita president Jagti (JTC),Soan kashmir front j&k said that we have been protesting for the last 9 months, but our demands are not being met till today.we want to ask our Hon'ble prime minister of india Shri Narendra Modi ji and Lieutenant Governor U T J&k Shri Manoj Sinha Ji what is our fault that our demands are not being met .while we have been living in exile for 31 years,is the Government of india bent on wiping out our community.Are we being persecuted for having a indian thinking by the Government of india.How long will we be deceived and how much will we be persecuted. we have been and are being persecuted which is a violation of human rights . Now we should not be harassed too much. Pandita said we the kashmiri pandits have been homeless for 31 years due to militancy . So Rehabilitate us in kashmir valley which is our motherland.We are demanding increase the monthly cash relief of relief holders from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000 per family per month .Give jobs in the houses where there are no government jobs in the families for which a package of 20,000 jobs should be announced.Out of 20,000 posts 5,000 Class 4th posts should be given to unemployed youth who have passed matriculation and then later they could not get ahead due to poverty who do not appear in the merit lists.Give Loss of property for 31years.Recruitment of kashmiri migrant youth on-spot in the police force should be done in jagti migrant township and other migrant camps and non camps ,so that kashmiri migrant youth can also get jobs in police Force .Give political and Minority status to kashmiri Pandits.Settle kashmiri pandits in 3 townships in kashmiri valley where 30 to 35 thousands families can live in each township with all facilities.kashmiri pandits and sikhs should be declated minority communities from kashmir valley and give them minority and political status .Others who participated in the protest are S/Sh Raj kumar tickoo ,Ravinder koul , Rakesh Ambardar , Rakesh tickoo ,Sunil koul ,Shuban Ji Raina ,Vinod Bhat, Kamal Ji pandita ,Vijay Bakshi , Ram krishan, S L kar, O N Raina,Ramesh suri ,Rakesh koul, S Charanjeet singh, and others.
