| Happy Cricket Club wins Chandi Mata Cricket tourney | | |

SAMBA, July 4: Chandi Mata Cricket tournament being played in Cricket Stadium Vijaypur (Salmeri) concluded today. Final match was played between Happy Cricket Club and RCC. Happy Cricket Club scored 134 in 12 overs. While chasing the RCC team could muster only 106 runs after losing all its wickets, thereby failing to achieve the winning target of 135 runs set by the opponent team. In the Senior Congress leader of district Samba, Rajan Sharma, who had joined as chief guest, handed over the winner’s trophy and cash prize to Happy Cricket Club.
He also gave some monetary (Rs 5100) support to the organizers and praised them for their efforts.
