Red Cross Society volunteers distribute face masks among people | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, July 4: Volunteers of Red Cross Society Udhampur distributed masks and hand sanitizers to the general public in the market. The volunteers during the distribution drive made an appeal to the public not to be careless in wearing masks as the second wave of corona has only shown signs of decline but its threat has not totally disappeared till now. Senior volunteer of Red Cross Society, Rakesh Singh also made aware the masses about the vaccination drive initiated by the government and appealed to all the left out people to get themselves vaccinated at the nearest vaccination sites as it is only the best way to develop immunity against deadly coronavirus. Red Cross volunteer Vivek Gupta hailed the efforts of the district administration for adopting various strategies to minimize the effect of Covid along with other measures adopted for the welfare of the general public. Singh also appealed to the general masses to utilize the services of Telemedicine, a scheme initiated by the Government of India for their routine check-up from specialists and doctors of District Hospital Udhampur. |
