JAMMU, July 18: A plantation drive was organized by NGO "Jiyo Aur Jeene Do" in the Panchayat Ghar Upper Rehambal, under which trees of many species were planted.
President of the NGO Tariq Shah said,"Our NGO is striving for humanity and is working to plant and distribute saplings at different places for the conservation of trees. We also appeal to all the people to be associated with the environment, carry out plantation and play your role to purify the environment and make the earth green". Sarpanch Sushma Sharma, Program coordinator Neena Koul, Mohini Verma, Anju Devi, Ali, Rajesh, Sahil and many other local people were present. |
