| VKS appeals LG to solve public issues | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 18: Vishal Khatri Sabha (VKS) J&K President Devender Seth on Sunday appealed LG Manoj Sinha Administration to full-fill all genuine demands of the general public on priority.
He was speaking at a meeting of Sabha to review the follow-up action of the demands made by the general public before concerned authorities from time to time. He observed that the administration needs to make committed efforts to lay special focus on improving the prompt service delivery mechanism for timely disposal of public grievances.
Every possibility should be explored in meeting the developmental expectations of the people, Seth said, adding that a common man should not suffer for getting access to simpler services and developmental needs.
Seth urged Administration to take all necessary measures to streamline the developmental process and remove bottlenecks, if any, to ensure that the execution of any project does not remain delayed unnecessarily.He said the need of the hour is to address all the genuine issues and demands put forth by common man must be looked into meticulously for their early redressal.
He also urged the public representatives and people at large to adhere to the SOP''s and guidelines issued to prevent the spread of Covid-19.It is our collective will and responsibility that would help us to defeat this pandemic, he said. Seth observed that people of J&K needs elected govt which should not be delayed further for assuaging socio-economic and political aspirations of the people and undertaking development on a massive scale holds key to steer J&K to peace and prosperity.
After restoration of statehood, Govt should announce assembly election so that people can elect their representatives in assembly. He said that this is the only way to end sufferings of People of Jammu and Kashmir. |
