JAMMU, July 18: Govt. Degree College, Ukhral organized a webinar to celebrate National Reading/ Digital Reading day today.
The programme aimed to renew our commitment towards providing an access to knowledge through reading. The programme commenced with the welcome address from the Principal of the College Dr. Ranvijay Singh. He talked about the importance of reading in contemporary times among Students. Prof. Iftikhar Hussain, while talking about the importance of the day, motivated the students to make reading a regular habit.
Prof. Zakir Hussain also presented his views on the topic in discussion. Among the Student speakers, Abdul Qadir Bali, Mohd Jamshed and Kikar Singh presented their topics. The programme concluded with the closing remarks from Dr. Shafiq Ahmed Katoch of Department of Urdu. |
