| CF criticizes Jammu based BJP leaders | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 21: Citizen Forum (CF) has criticized some Jammu based Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leaders.
"Is it necessary that we should tolerate the inadequate capacity, knowledge and non-political leaders, like former Dy CM Nirmal Singh and MP Jugal Kishore and others like them to rule us", the press release of CF reads, adding that they have very silently shelved the proposal for International Airport for Jammu after meeting with a Union Minister.
"BJP is not the owner of Jammu. We never asked questions on their corruption related issues nor their capacity to get some development for Jammu but this is too much for us the people of Jammu. It amounts to selling of Jammu as a whole. The Land on which the Airport was proposed is of a great strategic importance as it touches four district of Jammu region i.e. Jammu, Samba, Kathua, and Udhampur and is nearby two main religious places of Jammu, Parmandal and Utrabehni along-side many forts in Samba region. If completed this could have been a great boost to the Economy of Jammu region but now the 46000 Kanals Land has been proposed to be governed to the department of Industries for some industrial hub. Wasting money first on one project and then cancelling it has become fashion for these BJP leaders", CF said.
"We for the first time are demanding corruption enquiry against these BJP leaders. It is insult of the educated decent people of Jammu to even think to be ruled by them", the press release reads. |
